Burger with a nice balance of flavours and textures. The beef patty was a good quality which was grilled to perfection. The outer layer was charred with some crispy bits and the inner meat was tender and juicy. We also enjoyed their crinkle cut fries as well.

It’s quite good if you’re looking for somewhere to have a quick bite. The service was fast. Burgers were good. The guava lemonade was a bit sour for my taste. Nice, crispy soft fries.

Visited their location at the Citygate Outlet Mall. The ordering process was very seamless, as it was done entirely via tablet and self-serve. Many of the items are similar with other Shake Shack locations, with the Hong Kong locations having the Mango Bubble Shake as an exclusive item. All burgers and sandwiches were made fresh once ordered and were a good portion size by itself. The Avocado Bacon Burger as one of the more special items was decently filling on its own. Recommended to visit Shake Shack for those who are looking for a decent burger and/or want to try an American-style smashburger.

I got the limited-time Texas BBQ burger. The burger is great but it had very little BBQ sauce as you can literally see so the burger was a bit dry for me. The fried Jalapeño was good but I had hoped it would be fried some more though

This is a good place to have a quick bite like burgers fries and some drink. They seem to make it fresh and it taste quite good. My husband loved the food there and he wanted to visit again before leaving Hong Kong. The staffs also pretty polite and well mannered. Overall good experience

Our Burger Is Different (Bought in November 23, 2025) When I gonna went to Ngong Ping Tung Chung station, I saw Shake Shack at Citygate. After returned from Tian Tan Buddha, I bought Shake Shack for lunch. Of course because it was a rare chance to but Shake Shack as Shake Shack have limited presence at overseas. Shake Shack offered burger, hotdog, and milkshake. Alcoholic drink also available, albeit with very limited option. At some degree, Shake Shack in Hong Kong had limited localization, with most of permanent menu were same with at the hometown. Although labeled as fast casual, the menu looked less or same with typical conventional fast food restaurant. Quality wise was similar with restaurant specializing in gourmet burger, however. The menu was served with appetizing appearance like in the photo. ShackBurger (9.5/10) Here is the burger I ordered, ShackBurger. Typical burger in Shake Shack, the bun had cut like folded bao bun. The bun was soft and had fluffy texture. The burger had patty with crunchy texture. The patty was tasty. On the top of the patty, a slice of cheese, two slice of tomato, and a slice of lettuce were stacked, topped with ShackSauce. ShackSauce had creamy and a bit sour flavor. Probably was mixture between ketchup, mayonnaise and possibly secret ingredients. Fries (10/10) Shake Shack iteration of fries was crinkle-cut fried potato. It had crunchy texture. The fried potato was lightly seasoned, not very salty. The portion was enough for 1 person. Paradise Crunch Salad (Chose Avocado Green Goddess salad dressing) (9/10) Seems unusual, Shake Shack actually doesn't sell salad at the hometown. Initially conceived for LTO in summer 2025, the -Hong Kong exclusive LTO menu ended up became permanent menu. The menu also was very 'American' in the aspect of appearance and ingredients. The existence of watermelon radish was the main indicator. Savory salad with fruit as one of the component is very common in America. Beside typical components in salad (like romaine, kale, cherry tomato, and onion) there was crispy chicken bites, fried wonton skin, and watermelon radish. The former two were reflecting 'crunch', while the latter was reflecting 'paradise'. It might seem to be odd, but all components were blended perfectly. Interestingly, the crispy chicken bites was able to maintain the crispiness for long time. Speaking of Avocado Green Goddess, the salad dressing had creamy and strong sour flavor. Despite this, avocado wasn't 'drowned' by the sour flavor. For this reason, I didn't use lime to add flavor. The portion of salad dressing was equally with the salad. The salad had very large portion. Large enough to be consumed for twice time in daytime and night time. Suitable for at least 2 persons. Customers can purchase the menu by either self order or went to counter at the back.
